FAQ

Are you a casual guild or a raiding guild?
We are a casual/raiding guild! We encourage players who are interested in casual play as well as players who wish to run heroics and raid instances. The rank and organization of the Guild has been setup to allow both types of players to participate and feel like they have a home in our Guild.
What are the Guild Ranks?
  • Squire
  • Honor Guard
  • Exalted Guard
  • Knight
  • Exalted Knight
  • Guild Leader
Why do you have members within your guild who are below level x but are only recruiting level x and above?
These members came to us during an open recruitment or were referred via other members of our guild prior to our decision to put a level requirement on new members.
How do you feel about alts within the guild?
We have a few members within our guild who have a main and alt character. If you are actively playing both characters than we are happy to have both characters in our family, however we don´t encourage having many alts within our guild for the sake of numbers.
Do you do instance runs?
Instance runs are organized using GroupCalendar. Members who require an instance run or help with a group quest are expected to schedule this on GroupCalendar and make sure you mention that you have done so in Guild chat.
What are your Raid Looting Rules
We use a Karma System based on time in the guild and/or guild participation; raid participation over all; raid participation for the current raid; upgrade need and previous loot distribution. We are fair to everyone in the group based on those facts. Our Raid Leader / Loot Master will call out the item and all those persons able to use the item are encouraged to type the word “Need”. It will then be determined by the Raid Leader / Loot Master who is eligible to roll on that item or if the item is to be awarded, and to whom. This unfortunately is not a group debate but based upon the above listed information. Any items not needed by anyone in the raid group will be awarded for disenchanting and the shards placed in the guild bank to fund future raids, lotto, etc. Because we are making every attempt to be fair to everyone in our raid groups we have decided to NOT implement a DKP (Dragon Kill Point) System. The Karma System is designed to award fair distribution of loot but still take into consideration the commitment made by those to the guild and to SoA raiding.
What about PVP?
We are not specifically focused on PVP.
Do you have Arena teams?
Our Guild has arena teams available to members.
Do you have a Guild bank?
Yes we do. Check the rules for details about our Guild Bank.
