I’m really happy to see you all come back strong after the patch and dive back into raiding! This has been a great week for SoA, let’s keep it going!

• Kara cleared in 2:32! Great fun was had by all!
• ZA cleared. Let’s see about beating those timers too. We beat 3 before the patch, 4 will be cake now.
• Lurker downed in SSC. Thank you all for my Mallet of the Tides!
• Rage Winterchill downed in MH.

I’ve decided to delete everything and start from basics again. Let’s see how long that lasts!

Ok, I’ve been going on about this for weeks and it looks like it’s finally here (the 12 hour maintenance was my first clue).

I know everyone’s basically been waiting and this has slowed us down some, got folks sitting on the side lines but it’s time to jump back into the game or get left behind.

One of the issues has been GroupCalendar but with the release of the in-game Calendar, this should be a thing of the past.

First things first, talents. We’re all getting our talent points refunded as all the trees are getting major overhauls. They new talent trees are designed for levelling to 80, so you may find it’s going to feel “incomplete”.

LOTTO POSTPONED!

Our Fall Lotto event is fast approaching.  Those of you who haven’t done so please visit our website forums and let us know whether or not you will be attending this event.

Our prizes for this event are as follows:

• Grand Prize - 1000 gold
• First Prize - 500 gold
• Second Prize - 300 gold
• Third Prize - 200 gold

We will also be doing a Naked DM run.  Thats right, I said Naked.  Winners from each group will receive 50 gold.

Naked DM:  Folks will be set up in groups of 5 and sent into the instance naked!  The goal is to run thru the instance as fast as you can and equip only the gear and weapons that drop for you. The winner is the one that comes out with the most gear, fairly won.  Blues gear is worth 3 points, green gear is worth 1 point. Tally up the number of items you have on, add in the points for your colored gear and the winner gets the prize!

And now for more rules! A 1 gold ante will be collected by Sione {or one of her many alts} just prior to the start of the event!
